Coole Swan was created by three friends and business colleagues, David Phelan, Adrian Walker and David Gluckman. What we shared was a love of the drinks business, a passion for quality and a simple aim: to make the world’s most delicious cream liqueur, where every single ingredient is ‘the very best of the best’. Our journey started in early 2006. We built our new drink bit by bit, painstakingly sourcing the best quality ingredients from all over the world. We don’t mass-produce and we are only interested in natural ingredients. We believe that there are a lot of people out there who are looking for genuinely better products. The name Coole Swan was inspired by the unspoilt beauty of Coole Park in County Galway. It was immortalised in Yeats’ poem ‘The Wild Swans at Coole’. The Coole Swan bottle was based on the design of a 19th century milk bottle. It has been specially crafted in white frosted embossed glass. Fresh and natural!
